I’ve always embraced the very broad job description that is “designer”. Whether it be defining seasonal trend/silhouette direction or sewing buttons to market samples in the wee hours, I’ve continued to fall deeper in love with my craft and this industry of creatives and trailblazers.
The artful science of knitwear inspires and drives my creative expression; holding hands with sustainable design practices and and social and environmental consciousness. Collaborating with yarn mills, and knitters; both locally and abroad, I’ve cultivated a vast knowledge and deeper appreciation for the intricacies of knitwear. I’m lucky to have had so many champion me throughout my journey, and I strive to do the same - fostering creativity and collaboration amongst my team and managing and mentoring those who realize a designers job is never-ending, yet endlessly rewarding.
